​Dearest Allen: you lived a life which inspired so many and continues to do so.   Everyone who attended your service felt your special spirit in the words of love shared by your family.  Since then scores of people have said: “Allen touched my heart”; “I never met Allen but felt like I knew him by the close of his service”; “What a remarkable person” and on and on.  I miss you terribly every day but find comfort in a father’s pride of my sweet, loving son.
